My favorite TV Chef/Personality is Paula Deen. I don't agree with all the butter she uses but she is fun, and has GREAT DISHES!! Recently she was in Atlanta helping a hungry chairty organization! Well they were tossing turkeys into the truck and she was in the way and WHAM, RIGHT IN THE FACE...OUCH! Check out the video below, I'm sure she will be fine!!

For example I've always wanted to jump out of a plain and SKY DIVE!! I can only imagine the feeling! Now I really want to go, becuase if this 95 year old lady can do it, SO CAN WE!!!

You know how much of a movie lover I am! This flick looks GREAT, and since I'm a big sports fanatic as well, I actually knew and read a lot about this young man's journey and his struggles growin up, and how a family took him in to help him out, and they ended up learning from each other! CANNOT WAIT, I can already tell this movie will be a BUYER!! If you notice the theme song to the tralier (and the film) is Rob Thomas's Someday!

I've watched this trailer many times and when I go to the movies and they preview it, I immediately say SHHHH....this LOOKS SOO GOOD!

Here is the Movie Trailer to THE BLIND SIDE which comes out November 20th. I know it will not be number 1 at the box office becuase it's the same weekend as NEW MOON (OMG) but it should still do well!

B.E.P performed I gotta feeling and changed the lyrics around a little bit, but that wasn't the AMAZING THING....? Watching thousands of people nsync doing the same dance moves was INCREDIBLE! Finally Blogging AGAIN!! What happend to Michael Franti and Spearhead!

Recently this is what's been going on with the new Group Michael Franti and Spearhead! Michael Franti specifically has had a rough past couple of weeks and here is what he wrote on his website about his recent incident and getting back on stage!!!

Well after being in the hospital for six days following a ruptured appendix surgery and being at home for a week following that, I got back on stage at the House of Blues in New Orleans and played music once again. I felt a bit shaky going into it, not having jumped or used my abdominal muscles to sing at all for two weeks, so I wasn't sure if my body remembered how to do it. I did a short Yoga practice before the show and my first headstand since the surgery which gave me a little confidence. My bandmates were really on point and having their support over the past two weeks of layoff and then onstage last night was HUGE! Thanks guys (and you too Cherine)! They played better than before the layoff (maybe we need more time off? LOL). Anyway, once the adrenaline kicked in I was fine onstage. Only problem was my guitar sits right up against my incision from the surgery and kept bumping it (ouch!) so I adapted by playing my guitar on the side of my body. A bit awkward, but perhaps it's a style that will catch on. I felt like I had about 75% of my normal energy and look forward to getting back in tour shape in the next few weeks.I want to thank everyone who packed the House of Blues last night and were so warm welcoming me back before and after the gig. Also thanks once again to everyone who sent letters, E-mails, flowers, teddy bears, ointments and prayers for my healing. I've said it before, we have the best fans an artist could ever dream of having!!! I'm grateful to be alive and grateful to be sharing music again!

How's Life?

Hey haven't done this in awhile....seems I never have time for all this technology now-a-days!! Well my life is good...busy with finishing up school and having fun working but even though I love my job it keeps you busy and can get very....you know same old same old! Recently though the radio stations had this mandatory meeting called the Fish Presentation (philosophy)! It was very good! Even though I’ve seen the video before it was a great exercise to interact with co-workers and realize that we have the choice to be happy or not! We have the choice to let the day fly by and have fun doing so or just get by and complain all day! It’s so easy to complain about life and everyday work e.t.c. This exercise really was a great REFRESH BUTTON and from now on If I’m feeling bummed about nothing I will think of the “FISH philosophy”. It’s a workplace management system that has 4 basic principles, and they are really easy to understand use at work or in your EVERY DAY LIFE!! The 4 are:

Play
Make Their Day
Be There [for Coworkers] (Often referred to as "Be Present" This is more to do with giving your full attention to a task or individual.)
Choose Your Attitude

Choose your attitude is one that I personally will use from now on for the rest of my LIFE, if you have not seen the Fish philosophy video I strongly recommend it to you and co-workers of yours!

So you may have heard about this and to be honest I couldn’t believe it at first either but recently a man can now walk after being a PARAPLEGIC for the past 21 years thanks to a BROWN SPIDER!!!! Who would think of getting bit by a spider would be a good thing. I cannot stand spiders, they creep me out but for this I think I will give some spiders a little more credit! Now if you haven’t heard the story you might be confused so here you go…. A man named David from California has been a paraplegic for the past 21 years was bit recently by a BROWN SPIDER! 48 year old was rushed to the hospital and the nurses noticed spasms happening in his legs. Doctors then decided that his nerves were alive but dormant. So after eight months of rehab from the bite, David was able to walk out of the hospital! His dream is to someday walk both of his twin 14 year old daughters down the aisle. What a cool story huh! :)
